JR駒込駅からほど近い、アザレア通りという商店街っぽいところから少し曲がった場所にひっそりとあるお店です。
シトシトと雨が降る夜のせいか、19時ぐらいに訪問しましたが誰もお客がいませんでした。
お店はお世辞にもキレイとは言えない、雑多な感じです。
うなぎを食べることには決めていましたので、とりあえず一番安いうなぎを頼みます。
1,200円ぐらいだったかな。
待ち時間はあまり無く、割りと早めに出てきます。
焼いているのは炭ではないようですね。
うなぎはわりとアッサリしているのですが…。
なんというんでしょうね、これは「ウナギ」というよりは、なんか「アナゴ」のようです。
うーん、値段相応というか、あまりあの「ウナギ臭さ」というか泥臭さや生臭さはないのですが、ウナギ食べてる感も無いのです。
どうもこの身の厚さもアナゴっぽい。
まあ、悪くはないんですが、ここで3回うなぎを食べるならば、1回だけでいいのでつきじ宮川本廛に行ったほうがトータルでの満足度は高いように思います。
とはいえ、その辺の2,000円ぐらいの下手なうな丼よりはマシかもしれません。
もう一度リピしてみましょう。
