We now accept credit cards (Master, VISA, AMEX). We carry "Chagusaba Farming Tea", a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage. Our green tea, delivered directly from the producer, has been highly praised by tea lovers. We are also proud of our shaved ice in the summer and roasted sweet potatoes in the winter. Our frozen roasted sweet potatoes in particular have been featured on TV many times. We have started serving one-shot espresso coffee at our standing bar. We don't advertise it, but more and more customers are saying that it's better than specialty shops, saying, "This taste is amazing for just one coin (100 yen)!" |

We turned the second floor of Marukiku Yajimaen into a traditional Japanese cafe. We named it "Manzu Cafe." My wife is from Akita prefecture, so it's a local dialect for "Manzu, welcome!" It's a welco
...me phrase. We cleaned up my parents' room, put a low table there, and it ended up becoming a traditional Japanese cafe (lol). In the summer, we have Shaved ice and Soft serve ice cream, and in the winter, we have sweet red bean soup! Matcha lattes and other items that are very popular.
