PR for restaurants |
Heartwarming smiles, food and service. A red shop located 2 minutes walk from the north exit of Oji Station, halfway up the Toden street.
A French cuisine Restaurants where you can enjoy both your eyes and your taste buds. We take the time and effort to prepare all of our dishes, and offer them to our customers at reasonable prices. Eve |
A place to stop by on your walk to Asukayama Park. It's a minor location, halfway up the hill on the Asukayama Park side of Oji Station, but I never knew there was a restaurant with such great taste and atmosphere. The red exterior of this restaurant, which looks very French cuisine, catches your eye when you're riding the Toden tram. Bistro run by a married couple who seem to be locals. This is also a local restaurant, and all the prices are reasonable. I was a little shocked that coffee after lunch was 100 yen, as I used to live in Minato Ward. The lunch course is at most 2000 yen, so I chose the special course shown in the photo. The madam announced that coffee was an additional 100 yen, so I ordered coffee separately. Given the price, I honestly didn't have any expectations, but when the appetizer platter arrived, it was so filling that I thought, "Isn't this all for 2000 yen!?" The taste was easy to eat, and it was solid but not too heavy. Isn't this enough? The quiche was full of vegetables, which I don't like, but it was so delicious that I didn't even notice. I deliberately chose fish for the main course. I was expecting one flounder, but two came out! It was so good value that I wondered if they were making a profit. The surface was crispy, and the sauce was rich but not too heavy. It was delicious. Usually, I think of Bistro as something like "I'll come again once in a while," but this was a rare hit restaurant that made me think "I'll definitely come again," "I'll bring my girlfriend," and "I want to come every month." [After the second time] I've included this restaurant in my regular monthly lunch visits. It's been getting popular recently, and it's a shame that I have to check if it's fully booked before I go. The taste hasn't changed, but they sometimes have cordon bleu, and the lunch menu always comes with escargot, so it's great that it has a unique character that other restaurants don't have.
