都電荒川線（東京さくらトラム）に乗って、荒川車庫前のハンバーグの名店『クールカフェ』さんへ。
こちらのお店はたくさんのメディアに取り上げられているようです。「嵐にしやがれ・マツコと有吉のかりそめ天国・NEWS Every・ヒルナンデス」など。という私も先日の『マツコの知らないハンバーグの世界』でマークしていたから今日訪問したしだいです。
店頭にはデカデカと「東京でハンバーグを出すお店1,058軒の中で第４位」と垂れ幕が下がっています。これは一体何なのかと調べてみれば、あくまでも「マツコと有吉のかりそめ天国（2019年放送）」の番組特集「都内で最もおいしいハンバーグ」の中での順位のようでした。第４位はもちろん凄いことですが、なんだか中途半端な順位かも（笑）
あまり広くない店内。このクソ熱い中、店頭のオープンスペースで食事をしているお一人様のご婦人もいらっしゃいました。メチャメチャ暑そう！
ご主人はビックリするぐらい丁寧で心配りがある接客をされます。そして驚くほど声がでかい。また異常なほどの喋り好き、説明好き、PR好きな方。
お店の２階では趣味のアンティーク（?）時計の販売をやっていらっしゃるようです。声がデカいので他のお客さんとの会話が全て耳に入ってきます。
一番スタンダードな『デミグラスソースハンバーグ200g 1,180円』を『目玉焼きトッピング 110円』で注文しました。デミグラスソースは、12時間以上煮込んだ牛すじとトマトをベースにして、たくさんの野菜を16時間以上煮込んだと書いてありました。とにかく説明好きです。
ハンバーグのパテは「黒毛和牛A5 6割・国産豚 4割」。玉ねぎを飴状になるまで炒め甘さを引き出したものに、豆腐・麹と5種類の何だか体にいい成分（これは説明なし）を投入。つなぎのパン粉を使用しないハンバーグ。なんと卵も不使用だそうです。
ハンバーグを割ると中からジュワ～と肉汁が溢れます。おっしゃるとおり柔らかいですね。フワフワのハンバーグは白ご飯と相性バッチリ。
デミグラスソースはさっぱりとして美味しい。スプーンですくってソースだけでも飲めます。結局デミグラスソース全部飲んでしまいました。
新型コロナ対策でしょうが玄関の自動ドアはフルオープン。冷房もあまり効いておらず、私は玄関のすぐ近くに座ったので外からの熱波が押し寄せてきます。ハンバーグ食べていると額から汗が吹き出してきました。首筋もビッショリに。汗をフキフキですが美味しくいただきました。
お店の名前は『クールカフェ』ですが、店内はとてもクールではありませんでしたね！（笑）
