2019年5月某日の19時過ぎに訪ねた。
王子駅から徒歩5分ほどの場所にある海鮮居酒屋「魚荘」。
それほど広くない店内には先客1名。
テーブル席に1人で座る。
お酒は日本酒をチョイスする。「雅の詩（2合）」¥580を常温でリクエスト。値段の割には飲みやすい日本酒。
お通しは筍がたっぷり入った煮物。アッサリして美味しい。
海鮮料理を日替わりメニューとしても色々提供しているので注文し甲斐がある。
生子酢 ¥640：コリコリ食感が心地好い生子酢。サイズは小さいが、酒のつまみには良い分量。もみじおろしが嬉しい。
マグロ納豆 ¥560：なかなか良いクオリティのマグロの赤身と納豆の組み合わせ。食べ応えがあって良いつまみ。日本酒と共に味わうにも良い。
三葉の玉子とじ ¥460：ちょっとした甘さとダシの旨味を両方味わえる玉子とじ。三葉の爽やかさと玉子とじが良いバランスで、個人的には自宅でも真似したいつまみ。
安定して美味しいつまみが食べられる店であった。海鮮料理が豊富で色々楽しめる店。
女将さんの接客も程好い距離感で心地好い。店内はそれほど広くはないが、王子で飲むには使い勝手の良い居酒屋であると感じた。
