Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located down the hill from the Higashijujo south exit. I used it for a banquet on a weekday night. It was a course meal, but the whale dishes and sashimi that seemed to be the specialty of this restaurant were served first. It's interesting because there aren't many restaurants that serve whale food. It's rare to find monkfish liver on the course. And Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot). It's rare to Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) at a fish restaurant. Grilled fish and chawanmushi came, along with grilled chicken. Also Gyoza / Dumpling and shumai. I thought it was a fish restaurant, but towards the end I realized it was Chinese Cuisine. The meal ended with udon. Overall taste is average. I guess the drinks weren't good. I don't know how many courses there were, but the courses themselves were interesting.
