A popular Yakiniku (Grilled meat) at the east exit of Akabane Station. You have to be prepared to queue for lunch, and although I've been to the main store in Jimbocho several times, this was my first time at the Akabane store. I made a reservation and visited for dinner. I was shown to a seat on the second floor. First, I ordered a draft beer. Draft beer is a must at a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant. Looking at the menu, it was reasonably priced as expected. Kalbi, loin, tongue, and heart. Sides included kimchi and namul. As I ate the kimchi and namul and drank my beer, the meat came out. First, the tongue. The tongue was of a moderate thickness and was served with onions. My expectations for the delicious tongue were building. The heart, which I love, was large and had a unique texture and aroma. It went down well with beer. The kalbi and loin had just the right amount of fat. Overall, it was delicious. I switched from beer to makgeolli and drank it slowly. For the final course, Cold Noodles. Cold Noodles with lots of toppings were delicious and refreshing. The price was reasonable and casual. A very satisfying Yakiniku (Grilled meat) dinner.
