南千住駅から徒歩3分以内。
魚河岸料理をウリとする居酒屋さん。
おそらくすぐ近くにある「足立市場」から材料を仕入れているのでしょう。
屋号である「次郎長」は店主ご夫妻が清水さんであることから付けたのこと。
ごくごく単純な理由だけど、こういう洒落っ気、結構好きです。
カウンター越しにある大皿料理を見て選ぶも良し。
本日のおすすめメニューをホワイトボードから選ぶも良し。
バリエーション自体はかなり豊富です。
刺身はいずれもブツ切りで旨し。
自分が大好物の「まぐろの脳天刺し」（所謂頭トロ）が常時あるのも嬉しいポイント。
生ビールのジョッキは昔サイズ。
中ジョッキでも現在の大ジョッキほどあります。
これオッサン心には響くもの有り。
「あの頃はまだ若かったな～」って・・・(笑)
弱点は混雑するとお店が回らなくなるところでしょうか。
でも仕方ありません。ご夫婦お二人で切り盛りしてるのですから。
短気な方には向きませんが、この辺も下町酒場の愛嬌。
女将さんの軽快トークでも聞きながら気長に待ちましょ。
