珍しい魚、美味しい魚を食べようと思うとやはりここ。
2023年も楽しく美味しい時間を過ごせたこちらのお店には感謝。
ただ通い続けていて近頃思うのは、以前はあった洋食やエスニック、または珍しい調理法の定食メニューが減ってしまったこと。
今は、定評のある刺身盛り合わせや海鮮丼のほかには、煮付けか塩焼きか揚げ物ばかり。
珍しい魚や好きな魚を仕入れてあっても、そうした調理になっちゃう。
自分は変化に富んだ食事がしたい。新しい体験がしたい。だから定番は作りたくない。
こちらの店でも同じメニューはほとんど食べない。メニューの固定化は、店の手数を減らし利益率を上げる基本とは理解しつつも求めてしまう。
荒川区民の舌はとても保守的で変化を嫌い、新しいものを遠ざける傾向があると、スーパーの人から仕入れに関して聞いたことがある。
だから固まってしまうのかな。
自分はただ、前にあったようなムニエル風やバターソテー、ハンバーガー、カレー、ガパオライス、または鍋料理定食みたいな多様なメニューに見られた創意と冒険心、それらに満ちたマインドが感じられ、食べられるといいなと願う。
