■Cafe Bar Ginmaku @ Former Movie Theater The Nippori Kinbikan movie theater, which was founded in 1922 and closed in 1991, has been renovated into a facility called "Former Movie Theater." I had lunch at Cafe Bar Ginmaku, which is open in what was once the seating area. The entrance has been left as it was, with the ticket booth still standing. Inside, there is a big screen! It also serves as a stage, so it looks like it could be used for events. ■Beef Stew with Rice For lunch, they had Hot Dog and other dishes, as you would expect in a movie theater, but I chose the manager's whimsical menu, beef stew with rice. It also came with salad and yogurt. It looked like curry, but it wasn't spicy and had a rich flavor. I was also happy that it was full of ingredients. ■Popcorn Since it was a former movie theater, I also ordered popcorn. I ended up staying for a long time, snacking on it. There was a large skylight inside the store, and it was bright. It was a relaxing restaurant with a nostalgic atmosphere.
