久しぶりの北千住パトロール。丸井近くの裏通りを一本入り、あまり人通りがない間口が狭いこちらの店舗へ。京都のせま〜い店舗の入口のようで、東京だと気づかなければ、通り過ぎてしまうかもです。
靴を脱いで店内へ。古民家風の木造家屋の店内で、1階はカウンター席とテーブル席、2階もあるようです。
メニューを確認すると日本酒がかなり多く驚ました。そのため、ビールは飛ばして日本酒の赤武で乾杯。
お通しは鰹節が詰まった卵焼き、お刺身の盛り合わせをつつきながらほっと一息。
つづいて、純米吟醸の茨城で人気のある森嶋を注文し、茨城ならこの時期はあん肝ということで、マリアージュを楽しみましたが、茨城出身の私が言うのもなんですが、ここのあん肝はとてもクリーミーで臭みもなく、とっても美味くて感動してしまいました。なので、お酒もすすむすすむ。
さらに、純米吟醸の雑賀、大きなはまぐりの酒蒸し、焼き鳥、熱燗、エイヒレで〆ました。
日本酒をはじめメニューも豊富でオーナーのこだわりを感じたほか、また厨房に立ち丁寧なお料理を作られる店主の誠実さに触れながら、よき時間を過ごさせていただきました。
ちなみに、店名のなつ家は、なつかしい家のようにお客さんに寛いでいただきたいとのオーナーの思いが詰まっているとのことです。
そのため一人でかなり飲んで食べました…笑
