宇ち多゛を後にして10数分歩いて向かったのは「倉井ストアー」。それが残念ながら土曜定休日とは…。気を取り直し次に向かったのは此方の「えびすや食堂」。立石駅周辺を散策中に見つけた、何とも立石らしい雰囲気の昭和な食堂。パープルのファサードテント部分が何とも可愛らしい。
12時過ぎに暖簾をくくると先客が4組8名。休日の昼から思い思いの酒と肴を楽しんでいる。外のショーケースからは定食メインの食堂カラーが強いのかと感じたが、中に入って壁に貼られたメニューの豊富さにビックリ。ここは間違いなく「食堂」と名の付く「居酒屋」であった。この日は千ベロはしご酒の日であるため、オーダーは控えめにカンパチの刺し身、三葉のお浸し、ホタテフライに生ビール、相方は焼酎ハイボール。
勘八は鮮度がすごく良く舌にまとわりつく旨さ。相方曰くホタテフライは過去一の美味さだとか。お隣のお爺ちゃんはフグのヒレ酒をウインナーと楽しみ、女性の一人客から仕事仲間の語らいの場として使ったりと地域の方に愛されてる店であることが見てとれる。立石らしい昭和や食堂で美味しいお酒楽しみました。ご馳走さまでした。
