An overwhelming selection of sake and exquisite Japanese Japanese-style meal
A hideaway where you can enjoy basic Japanese cuisine, mainly homemade Japanese-style meal, and an impressive selection of sake. Although it is near the south exit of Kokubunji Station, as the shop itself says, ``98 out of 100 people get lost in this shop.'' There is no signboard, so if you don't know about it, you won't realize it's there. However, the store's signboard looks similar to "Sarusuiya" at the north exit, and if you look closely you can see the familiar "monkey" logo on it, so I asked the store manager if it was an affiliated store. When I asked about it, I was told that they used to be like that, but that they had become independent quite a while ago. As expected, the atmosphere and seasoning are quite different from the affiliated restaurants Sarusuya and Saruko. This restaurant has some elaborate Creative Cuisine, but also a wide variety of elegant Japanese Japanese-style meal that could be called kappo. I think the selection of sake is the best in Kokubunji. ◆Appetizer Mushroom somen with a really good soup stock! It's a rule that you can't go wrong with a restaurant that has great appetizers. The dip with komatsuna and fried tofu is also delicious! ◆Assorted sashimi 3 types of saury, water octopus, and red sea bream. It was fresh. There is a service that will season the leftovers and make it into a salad. ◆ Offal Stew One of the three types of famous stew. The rich soup and soft offal are the best. ◆Blue Cheese Ham Cutlet A masterpiece with blue cheese sandwiched between thickly sliced ham cutlets. This beer went too far. Delicious ~ The sake I received was from a sake brewery that the owner is close friends with. Everything was delicious, and at the end, I was served fresh clam soup, which was perfect and didn't leave me feeling hungover. It's a good shop. I'll come back later. Thank you for the meal~

My favorite Japanese-style meal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with delicious stew dishes and sake. It is quite difficult to find from the outside, but if you enter through a narrow passageway, there is a quiet signboard. I didn't even notice it when I passed by until I found it online. I bought ◆Beef tendon stew and ◆Motsu stew for takeaway. Both are packaged and can be taken home and heated in a hot water bath. The beef tendon is melty and has plenty of meat, and the large rounds of daikon radish are stewed until soft. The motsu stew has no odor at all and is delicious. When you eat it at the store, it has a lot of spring onions in it, which is appealing, so I wish I had bought some green onions. But it was very delicious (^-^)
