マンションの1階で、土地勘が無い私には少々分かりづらかった。
予約の電話はご主人が受けられたようで、物腰も柔らかく好印象である。
若いお弟子さんらしき男性と、フロア担当の女性、そしてご主人の3人で営われている。最初は家族経営かと思ったが、名札の名字がそれぞれ異なっていた。
予約の時、来店してすぐ、ご主人から「お時間がかかりますが宜しいですか」と念をされたが、7時スタートで8時半コース終了なので、鰻屋なら普通だろう。
大きめな鰻2尾を捌くところからスタートし、串うち、焼き、蒸し、焼きと調理され、叩き、肝焼き、白焼、鰻丼として提供された。
他に、茶碗蒸し、かんぱち昆布締め、糠漬け、ホワイトアスパラなども供された。
蒸しと焼きに拘った鮮度のいい鰻は、フワトロで脂がのってて美味しかった。
