"Kobe Beef" is made from Tajima beef from Hyogo Prefecture, and only beef of grade A-5 or above that is fattened and shipped only by registered members of the "Kobe Meat Distribution Promotion Council" is accepted. There are many types of "domestic Japanese black beef" on the market, but genuine Kobe beef is extremely rare and the amount distributed is limited. Teppanyaki Takahashi has a ``Kobe Beef Certification'' displayed inside the store, which proves that Kobe Beef is in stock.
