Go to "Kushibatten Tachikawa store" near Tachikawa station. Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is located on the 4th floor of restaurant building near the station. Seating is in a private room. You can enjoy creative Japanese-style meal such as local chicken and fresh fish at reasonable prices. There were course options, but when I visited I ordered a la carte.
