I heard from a friend that Seafood here is delicious, so I visited Isabi around 6:30pm. I've visited Cafe Over on the first floor of this building several times, but this was my first time here. There was a couple of customers in the store who entered the store by going down the stairs. Since I was alone, I was directed to the back of the counter. I ordered 8 slices of sashimi directly delivered from Kochi for 980 yen (excl. tax), and to go with it, I ordered Akabuichigo of pure rice hiyaoroshi from Iwate Akabu Sake Brewery for 950 yen. This comes with a Seafood salad appetizer of 400 yen. I also asked for an additional 580 yen of pepper sea bream kamayaki. There are two slices each of pepper sea bream, red sea bream, wild yellowtail, and grilled grunt. The plate is clean, so the white fish stands out. All of them were fresh, but the pepper sea bream was the best. The natural yellowtail was also delicious. Pair this with Akabu's Junmai Hiyaoroshi, which is dry, refreshing, and refreshing. I was the only one at the counter, so I started talking to the master about various things. Since he is from Susaki, he was able to get fresh Seafood from Kochi. When I was breaking the pepper sea bream pot on the way, the pot was so big that it seemed difficult to fit my teeth into it. After a while, the kamayaki was served on a large plate. It's nice that the plates are of good quality. This is a great value kamayaki for a large portion. Perfect for sipping with local sake. I also received a 900 yen bottle of Yamagata Takagi Sake Brewery's rare local sake special honjozo. Lastly, we had fried squid and mushrooms with butter and soy sauce for 780 yen, and the meal ended with 5,040 yen, a delicious and reasonably priced Seafood meal served with local sake.
