日本海の新鮮なずわいカニを腹いっぱい食べたいということで、鳥取の汐見亭へ。奮発して￥12000のフルコースを予約。お店は鳥取空港のすぐ近くで、タクシーでも￥1000程度だと思います。お店の前は冬の風吹く日本海。少し離れたところに物産センターがありましたが、基本的には他に何もなく、まさにカニを食べに来たんだと実感させられます。夕暮れはとても寂しくなる場所にお店はありました。予約してあったので、すぐに民宿づくりの座敷の個室に通され、早速「かにコース」のはじまり。当たり前ですが、かに刺、焼きがに、かにすき、姿がに、かにみそなどすべてがカニ、カニ、カニ。最初は大喜びし、美味しくて興奮して食べていましたが、さすがにギブアップ。２人で行ったのですが、結局姿がに２杯は食べることができずに、持ち帰る羽目に。中居さんが、２人だったらフルコース一人前でもよかったのにと一言。早く言ってよ。しばらくは「かにが怖い」冬となりました。
