This is a travel romance that brought me to Kurayoshi on my trip to Tottori in the fall of 2023. This trip to Tottori took advantage of the accommodation discount offered by a major travel site through Tottori Prefecture's unique campaign "Don't worry! You can take a hot spring!!" to support recovery from the damage caused by Typhoon No. 7 in August this year. Journey. I will be staying in Yonago, Kurayoshi, and Tottori for four days off. The second day was Kurayoshi. This is my first time staying in Kurayoshi. I had made a reservation in advance for dinner at Ajidokoro Shin. 5 minutes walk from Kurayoshi Station. There is a store in Kamimachi. We arrived just before 7pm, relying on Google Maps navigation. I was surprised when I saw the exterior of the store! I thought it was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but it looked quite upscale. It feels like Japanese Cuisine. Open the double automatic doors and enter the store. Go to the middle of the 8 counter seats. Mr. Akasaka, the owner of the bean squeeze shop, and his staff welcomed us. Calm atmosphere. There are also table seats and private rooms. When you look at the menu, you'll be happy to know that there are many types of local sake. [b:◇ Appetizer... 600 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Kobako crab (parent crab)... 1540 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Assorted sashimi... 1760 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Dashi roll... 800 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Nagaimo potato salad... 660 yen (tax included)] [b:◆ Sapporo lager medium bottle... 620 yen (tax included)] [b :◆ Hekizakura Kimoto Junmai Honkai no Sake, Warm Sake One Go 900 yen (tax included)] [b:◆ Jujiasahi Junmai Sake Hiyaoroshi Chilled Sake... 900 yen (tax included)] [b:◆ Benten Musume Junmai Sake Gohyakumangoku 2nd Girl Cold Sake... 880 yen (tax included)] [b:◆ Takayuu Junmai Ginjo Nakadare Cold Sake... 990 yen (tax included)] First, I'll have a bottled beer as usual. There was Sapporo Lager Akaboshi. It's a medium bottle. The appetizer came out right away. It's an elaborate appetizer that you won't understand unless you ask. Braised mukago and Japanese yam, pork and burdock, boiled clams, shimeji mushrooms, and spinach dip. That's nice~♪ And the Kobako crab that I had ordered in advance was right in front of me. Oh! This is amazing! Careful arrangement. Everything about the parent crab is packed inside the shell. In Tottori, female snow crabs are called ``oya-gani.'' The fishing season lasts until the end of the year, and the fishing season is shorter than that of males, so if you don't eat quickly, your fishing season will be over. The body of the leg is lined up and the child is on top. Bubble texture. The bottom part of the legs is a mixture of Uchiko and Hoagushimi. For sake drinkers, this is the best. Ah, I can't stand it. If your parents choose a large size. The legs are also thick. Is this really 1540 yen including tax? Thank you for taking the time to arrange it. Even in the city, you can eat as much as you want if you pay for it, but ``eating at the place where it's produced'' is truly a luxury. Immediately empty the beer and switch to sake. Since it's a sake that can be warmed up, this sake is made by Sakura Heki. Heki Sakura Kimoto Junmai has a yellow color. I like you, Sakura Hioki. Sake from Yamane Sake Brewery in Aoya. Dry sake that hits you hard. Warm and perfect. Next, I ordered the sashimi platter. It came out on a large plate. Assortment of 7 types. Flatfish, seared tuna, filefish, mackerel, white shrimp, bigfin squid, and flathead. There are 2 to 3 slices each. Filefish is a type of prickly pearfish that is often caught in Tottori. It's all about the liver. The next sake is Autumn Hiyaoroshi. I heard that Asahi Sake Brewery from neighboring Shimane Prefecture has it, so I went for that. Junmaishu Hiyaoroshi from Juji Asahi. The sake rice is Gohyakumangoku. Autumn-limited sake is almost over. I swallowed it. I ordered the soup roll. Made by young staff. The soup stock is a little light. Ripoff with soy sauce. The next sake is Bentenmusu's Junmaishu Gohyakumangoku 2nd Musume. ``Daughter number 2, please go to Tabiroman's counter.'' Sake from Ota Sake Brewery in Wakasa-cho. This can also be served hot. Although it has a slightly yellowish color, it is also an easy-to-sip drink. Finally, the Japanese yam potato salad. Nagaimo is a specialty of Tottori Prefecture. Now is the season to adopt it. You might think it would have a sticky texture, but it's surprisingly crunchy because it's not just yam, but also vegetables like cucumber mixed in. There are walnuts on top. The sake to finish is Taka Isamu's Junmai Ginjo Nakadare. A refreshing and easy-to-drink sake made with sake rice that is a mix of Yamada Nishiki and Tamaei and brewed with melted snow from Mt. Daisen. This is also delicious. The shop name, Susumu, comes from one letter of the shop owner's son's first name. It has been 7 years in Hachiya, Kurayoshi City, 13 years in front of the station, and 6 years since moving here. Since I stayed in Kurayoshi this time, I was able to come to Ajisho Shin. My first impressions were that I was very satisfied. The atmosphere is luxurious yet calm, and the customer service from the owner and other staff is impeccable. Best of all, the food is carefully prepared, delicious, and reasonably priced. Even though I ate Kobako crab, I still had change for 10,000 yen. It is also possible to stay in Kurayoshi to come to Susumu. I'll come back later. Akasaka-san, it was Gochisousan. [4300]
