PR for restaurants |
Since 1991, we aim to help our guests enjoy their stay with a relaxing atmosphere and the bounty of Toyama Bay and the mountains.

At the end of October 2013, he took me here for my birthday. I had called this restaurant many times last spring to ask if I could use it for work, but no one answered, so I had classified it as a "mysterious restaurant". Because of that, it was the only French cuisine restaurant I wanted to try in Toyama City and it had been bothering me. He remembered it and made a reservation for my birthday. But that was ruined. I knew it was a long-established restaurant, of course. The food was delicious. The color and the plates looked old, but I'm not an amateur when it comes to food, so I decided to call it "satisfactory". (Personally, I like YUKAWATAN in Karuizawa, so this is also a matter of taste.) The problem was the service. I was more surprised by this than any other restaurant I've been to. There were two middle-aged women, but one of them seemed to be a newcomer, and they taught me step by step. He and I sat opposite each other, and he was able to serve him from the right side as usual, but I was surprised that he served me from the right side as per the manual. He served me awkwardly, desperately stretching both arms out and almost hitting my face. I wish he would notice me leaning violently to the left every time his arms were about to hit me. And every time he took the plate away, he asked me "May I put it away?" which was really annoying. Even though I was using my knife and fork to signal "please put it away" so that he wouldn't interrupt the conversation. And every time he brought the food, he said "excuse me." It was annoying that he was forced to make a face and attitude of "oh, thank you" every time, and the conversation was interrupted. I don't think someone who has never eaten at a high-end French cuisine restaurant should work at a high-end French cuisine restaurant. The white wine I ordered has been forgotten, the cardboard box with "pear" written on it is visible, the curtains look yellowed, and outside the shop there are piles of gardening supplies like planters piled up in a mess. "If they ask for a service charge when we check, can I make a scene? I'm sorry, it's your birthday," he said, so I calmed him down and quickly left the restaurant...
