A cheap and delicious yakitori restaurant. It's about a 2 minute walk from Takaoka Station. The inside of the restaurant has a textured counter and table seats, making it somewhat like a bar. This Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) specializes in yakitori and Fried Skewers, but the top item on the menu was the chicken cutlet bowl. Special Yakitori Assortment (920 yen): Set of 2 special meatballs, 2 thighs, and 2 green onions. The meatballs are plump. Overall, the size is larger than the yakitori restaurants nearby. Tori Katsudon (580 yen): It's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) style katsudon, but it's full-sized and very filling. The chicken cutlet is tender and the rich broth is delicious. Mecha Umami Potato (320 yen): French fries with skin and lots of consommé and cheese. Grilled chicken fillet (780 yen): Thick chicken fillet comes with yuzu pepper. The doneness of the fire should be such that it has a firm elasticity. But if you're going to cook it this much, I feel like adding a little more will make it easier to eat and juicier. I think I'll order katsudon again.
