I made a reservation at 7pm on a weekday and visited for the first time with 3 people. There is a sign at the entrance that says ``We are fully booked at this time.'' It is a popular restaurant with a Bib Gourmand rating in the past. Inside the store, there are counter seats and tables (semi-private rooms) on the first floor, and when you go up the stairs to the second floor, there are table seats on the left that can be used by a large number of people, and private rooms on the right. It has a relaxing modern Japanese interior. This time, we were guided to a private room on the far right on the second floor. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, from typical Toyama dishes such as yellowtail shabu, crab, Gokayama tofu, and astragalus, to hot pot and grilled fish. As for alcoholic drinks, in addition to sake such as Katsukoma and Masuizumi, there is also Sunshine Whiskey from Saburomaru Distillery, which is also quite a lineup. This time I ordered the following: [Meals] ・Vegetable salad 680 yen ・Simmered shellfish 780 yen ・Assorted sashimi 2 servings 2,800 yen (1,400 yen per person) (Medium tuna, Fukuragi, Sasu kelp jime, White shrimp, Sweet shrimp, Horse mackerel, Aoriika, Flounder)・Toyama ball 580 yen ・Fried white shrimp 600 yen ・Dashimaki 680 yen ・Horse sashimi 950 yen ・Moro cucumber 380 yen ・French fries 380 yen [Drinks] ・Draft beer (Asahi Super Dry) 600 yen ・Tateyama Honjozo Nigo (650 yen per cup) ・Yoshizuku Nakakumi Junmai Daiginjo (2 cups) (880 yen per cup) ・Haneya Junmai Ginjo (980 yen per cup) The sashimi platter consists of medium-sized tuna and Toyama's unique sasu kombu. (Marlin tuna) is rare to find together, which was a nice point. White shrimp is extremely sweet. Overall, it wasn't an extravagant large sashimi, but rather an assortment of delicate sashimi. Toyama Ball is commonly called fried surimi. The hot and fluffy texture is irresistible. The recommended way to eat it is with shichimi mayo. I had a lot of fun comparing different types of sake, from the classic Tateyama to Haneya to the rare Youno Shizuku. At first, the food was served slowly and I wondered what was going to happen, but there seemed to be a group there, so I was relieved that the food was served as usual. We had a great time with delicious food. Thank you for the meal!
