富山に旅行中、高岡まで足を伸ばし大仏見学へ。
お城のほうへブラブラ歩くと、住宅街にポツンと・・・蕎麦や？
まだ新しい店の雰囲気に誘われ、入る。
あれ、鮨屋のような佇まい。
店主に聞いたら、以前、高岡の歓楽街で「居酒寿司」と言う店をやっていたそう。
寿司屋としてネタの高騰、品質等に疑問を持たれ、蕎麦屋に転向されたとのこと。
穏やかな話し口の中に、頑固さが・・・。
それだけで、味に期待。
まず、ビール。
お後はお勧めの純米吟醸に。
本来、呑み助のため醸造で無いと駄目だが、こちらは純米吟醸でも甘ったるくない。
感激したのに、銘柄を失念。
天ぷらは文句無く旨い。
蕎麦も当然。
揚げ方がどうの、衣がどうの、打ち方がどうの・・・言いません。
店主の話を聞きながら、旅人は満足な一時でした。
夜は居酒屋になるそうで、近ければなーと、後ろ髪引かれながらお勘定。
