PR for restaurants |
Salt-grilled sweetfish, skewered on bamboo and slowly grilled over charcoal, is a traditional dish.
This hearth-side restaurant is located in the garden of Kawakin, an inn surrounded by rows of 300-year-old pine trees. In the latter half of the Meiji era, they started grilling sweetfish from the Sho
...gawa River, and have continued to preserve the traditional charcoal grilling method. Now, during the season, the restaurant is bustling with customers from inside and outside the prefecture, and is very popular. They also serve local Daimon somen noodles, soba noodles, and udon noodles. From December to the end of February, they serve a winter menu, including salt-grilled trout and healthy beef stew.
