I enjoyed the [Specialty] Tiger Fugu Course. First, the scalding. The fugu skin and wakame seaweed are served with lemon. You eat it with ponzu sauce. It's crunchy and delicious. Speaking of fugu dishes, you can't forget the fin sake. You light it with a match and let the alcohol evaporate. It's piping hot, but when you drink it down, the heat blows through your nose. This is quite interesting. It's like extremely hot sake, but the unique aroma of the fin sake is very good. First, sashimi. Green onions and grated radish are dissolved in ponzu sauce and dipped in it. This light taste goes well with the fin sake. The texture of the sashimi is best enjoyed with the fin sake. At this point, the fin sake is gone. So I ordered more. Please note that alcohol is not included in the course. There is an all-you-can-drink option, though. I ordered Kuroushi. It is a local sake recommended by the manager. The cups are placed in a wooden masu and poured right in front of you. It's a nice touch that they deliberately let the liquid overflow. And then there's the main dish, tetchiri. The crunch of the tetsuna is great, but the firmness of the boiled pufferfish is also great. There are vegetables, tofu, and mushrooms, of course. It's human nature to want to eat hotpot when the weather gets colder. So eating pufferfish warms you to the core. Of course, this also goes well with sake. I kept eating it with ponzu sauce. Deep-fried pufferfish appears halfway through the hotpot. You can't bite into this fried pufferfish because the bone is in the middle. You have to bite into it from the right, then the left, one bite at a time. The crispness of the fried fish and the saltiness make it easy to drink sake. What's more, the pufferfish meat inside is very firm. There's no way this won't be delicious. Once the hotpot is finished, it's time for rice porridge. The porridge is essential to fully enjoy the rich extract of the fugu. Sprinkle on some egg and salt, and sprinkle on some nori seaweed to finish. When you eat this, a sense of satisfaction spreads throughout your body. It's the taste of mouthwatering happiness. By the way, the dessert is coffee jelly. It's perfectly chilled, has no strong flavor, and has a good chewiness, just the way I like it. It is garnished with fresh cream, which creates a contrast in flavor with the coffee. It adds depth to the flavor.
