この店はＪＲ和歌山駅から、けやき大通りを少し歩いて、右に入ったところにある。
店内は右が小上がり、左がカウンターと調理場になっている。
蕎麦は十割と二八？の二種類があり、本日は十割はないのでメニュー通り鴨せいろ蕎麦を注文した。
蕎麦は小山のようになって出てきて、かなりのボリュームだ。
水切り普通でエッジが立ち、切り幅とのし幅がいくらか異なる。
蕎麦の味と香りはあるが十分とは言えないが、十割ならば結構いいかもしれない程度にはある。
つけ汁は鴨肉、ねぎ、水耕三つ葉で標準的な感じだ。
蕎麦湯は釜湯で風味はあるが十分とは言えない。
夜は蕎麦居酒屋になり、メニューが豊富だ。
そのためかはわからないが、蕎麦のメニューにも炙り地鶏、豚天、肉かす、しらすといった名前が冠するそばがある。
いずれにしても、手打ち自家製粉でこの価格はかなり安く、一物一価の法則から下押ししているような感じだ。
訪問した時の昼はかなり繁盛していた。
