It's about a 10-minute walk from Wakayama City Station and has a nice atmosphere, with jazz music playing in the background, making it easy to enter even by yourself. The store clerk was also very excited. There is no parking lot at the store, so you will need to park your car somewhere. I visited after 12 o'clock on a weekday and was guided to the counter. There are about 10 seats, but there is almost no space between you and the person next to you, and there are small partitions placed every second seat, which personally bothered me a little. It seemed to be almost full, so if you want to be sure you can get in, you should make a reservation. As for the menu, I thought of ordering the weekly set meal for 960 yen, but the menu said there was only 5 meals a day, so I ordered the Kishu Fisherman's Bowl for 1,280 yen. In addition to the rice bowl, it comes with two Small dish, pork soup, and two pieces of fried chicken. Small dish also came with one piece of cold fried chicken, so I guess they put a lot of effort into fried chicken. All of the flavors were OK, but perhaps because the sashimi on the Fisherman's Bowl was cut into chunks, it felt like it had a strong taste. If you order something other than a bowl, the rice will be like Kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot), so next time I would like to try the set meal before making a decision.
