白浜からの帰り道、湯浅の町並みでも見ていこうかという事で駅前に車を止めてまずは食事、駅前にあるかどや食堂さんは行列だったので駅でもらったしらす丼マップを見ながらお店を探してこちらを訪ねてみました。
大きめのお店でカウンター席に案内されましたが、個室メインのレイアウトのようです。しらす丼としらすかき揚げの定食1,200円とさらに刺し身がついた1,500円の定食を注文しました。天ぷらだけ遅れて料理登場です。ボリュームよりも質を重視している感じです。まずはしらす単独で味わいますが市販のよりも塩気が軽めのようです。醤油を軽くかけてどんぶりとしていただきます。釜揚げはおいしいですね〜、こちらでは生しらすはなかったのですが十分に思えます。そして天ぷら登場、たっぷりのしらすの入ったかき揚げですが端っこはかりっと中ほどはほっくりで実に美味しいです。お刺身はマグロ三切れとちょっとさびしいので天ぷらのセットがお得でしょうかね。付け合せの金山寺味噌に持ち帰りの早ずしとどれもおいしくいただけました。
