和歌山県白浜町「長久酒場」。創業は昭和35年(1960年)。居酒屋探訪家の太田和彦氏が日本三大酒場と評したことから知る人ぞ知る有名酒場。因み現在の大将は3代目。
19時店着。白浜海水浴場の目の前にある建屋は背後のホテルが白いこともあり黒く浮いて見える。数年前にリニューアルされ新しいはずなのに周囲とは時間軸がズレているようなギャップを感じる。これが老舗オーラなのか？いざ暖簾を潜ると目の前にはゆったりしたL字カウンター。中にはちょっと気難しげな大将。美味い酒が飲めそうな予感がします。
＜酒＞
清酒長久。店名入りの瓶徳利。
長久辛口(冷酒)

＜肴＞
鯵：艶々。一目でわかる最高の鯵。
名物ウツボ：超身の締まった穴子みたい。
イノシシ：味付けは塩。臭みなし。
クジラのうでもの(内臓)：全く癖なし。
おでん：豆腐と巾着。豆腐美味し。
＜総評＞
肴はどれも新鮮。素材が良いから癖のない味付けが印象的。今日一は鯵と豆腐。タッチの差で売り切れたトマトが食べたかった。クエはなかった。でも最高。満足。間違いなくまた来よう。
老舗酒場☆☆
しかし予約なしの客が次から次へとやってきてラーメン屋のように待っている。だが目の前で肴はどんどん売り切れていく。予約とれて良かったなぁ。
