田辺の銀ちろは、海産物や熊野牛などの南紀の食材を存分に使った、アットホームな雰囲気の家族や友達同士向きのお店です。
今回は夕食を食べましたが、前日に別のお店で、刺身や天麩羅などを食べ過ぎるくらい食べていたので、胃腸への負担もあり、今日は軽めにしようと思って、牛肉の山椒焼き定食（1700円）をいただきました。もっと本気で食べる感じだったら、同じお肉でも熊野牛のステーキなんかもあって、とても美味しそうだったのですが。
ところが出てきたお肉はなかなか上等な感じで、脂がのりすぎていることはないけど、かといってパサパサしている訳でもない、固さはやや柔らかめといういい感じ。分厚さは普通のステーキ。山椒焼きとありますが、さりげなく香りを添える感じで、効きすぎてはいません。これで1700円だったらリーゾナブルです。
あと天麩羅も取り分けてもらっていただきましたが、これもさすが南紀、美味しかったです。魚や海老は、ほんとこの辺のお店は美味しいの出してくれますね。
次回、もっとおなかが空いているときに来たいです。
