〜紀伊半島1周普通電車の旅 その2〜 JR紀伊田辺駅で途中下車して、駅から徒歩約2-3分にある創業1959年の海鮮料理屋に行ってきました。開店10分前の10時50分に到着。1番乗りでしたが、10〜15人の予約客が2組店に入って行きました。予約していなければ、無理かもと思いましたが、開店時に運よく入れまして、2人用の個室に通されました。お造り定食1870円にご飯をしらす丼に変更(➕440円)とうつぼのタタキ990円を注文。お造り定食は、上造り、赤だし、ご飯、デザート。お造りは、鰹、鯛などの4種類。鰹は足が早く、刺身では中々美味しい鰹は頂けないのですが、新鮮でとても美味しい！この鰹を味わっただけでもお造り定食を注文した価値がありました。うつぼのタタキは、以前高知で食べた事がありますが、高知は表面を炙っている印象ですが、こちらは中まで火を通している印象。うなぎよりさっぱりしてますが、中まで火を通す事で、旨みが出ているように感じました。他の料理も美味しく、さすが紀州の味処で有名なお店です。
