【お店の紹介】
那智勝浦、中心部市街地の一角にある郷土料理店。
生マグロ水揚げ量日本一を誇る勝浦漁港の新鮮なマグロを使った料理を取り揃え、マグロの心臓・腹ワタ・皮・脳天・目玉等の希少部位を使った珍味も頂ける。その他、クジラ料理や地魚も提供する。人気は様々なマグロ料理を一度に楽しめる「まぐろ定食」。
お店は和風の素朴な内装で、カウンター席と掘り炬燵の小上がりが配置され、小料理屋のような気さくな雰囲気である。店内ではマグロの解体ショーが開催されることもある。
【総評】
那智勝浦観光の際にマグロ目当てで訪問。
「まぐろ定食」は、刺身はもちろんマグロのカツや鉄板焼き、そぼろ煮やつみれ汁などが頂ける、ボリューム満点の内容。「上マグロ丼」は赤身や中トロなど、大きくカットされた刺身が惜しげなく盛られた贅沢な丼。
那智勝浦は「トンボ」と呼ばれる「ビンナガマグロ」の漁獲量が最も多いが、新鮮な生の「ビンナガマグロ」は冷凍物からはとても想像できないモチモチしたキメの細かい肉質で、本マグロとはまた違った上質な味わいである。サービスで大きなカマ焼きが提供され、帰りには子供にお土産まで頂く気前のよさに、食後の満足感がさらに高まる。
那智勝浦で新鮮な生マグロを堪能できるよいお店である。
