The former Kappo Obata was also the filming location for the movie Okuribito. The interior of the store maintains the atmosphere of the movie scenes, but the high ceilings and pure white walls without the second floor give it a nice open feel. I ordered the Biyori Set, which comes with your choice of pasta, salad, and Biyori Bakery bread. Mountain Neapolitan with gentle ketchup, mushroom slices and Hirata Farm bacon are delicious. Best of all, the chewy fresh pasta is delicious. The salad is plentiful and the dressing uses moromi to whet your appetite. I guess the bread is okay. At this price, with this content and a nice store, it's a great deal.
