Enjoy the atmospheric Japanese garden and hot springs at Tachibanaya, Ryokan in Atsumi Onsen (Atsumi Onsen), Yamagata Prefecture.

A family trip to Atsumi Onsen, a 370-year-old Ryokan. Dinner is served in the dining hall, but you can choose your time in 30-minute increments. We toasted with a non-alcoholic mountain grape cocktail, then ate appetizers and soba noodles, and then sashimi, which is the barometer of Ryokan 's cuisine. The tuna was excellent, and the medium fatty tuna. The sea bream was a large one, and the fillets were large. The yellowtail was also fatty and delicious. The real snow crab was my son's favorite, so he was very happy. The marbling of the Yamagata beef Sukiyaki meat looked rough, but the taste was great. Fugu is a representative luxury ingredient, and it's hard to get it in Yamagata Prefecture, so it was nice to be able to eat it. The furo-buki daikon radish was a delicate taste with a stock made from sea bream, which was different from the taste of home cooking, and it was a treat in itself, but it was topped with a large piece of abalone. The sea bream rice was a bit disappointing, but the other dishes were all worthy of Tachibanaya.
