I visited Tsuruoka for the first time as a family using a special train operated by a railway company. After researching various lunch restaurants, I chose this one because it had a good reputation and offered a reasonably priced lunch. I made a reservation in advance and ordered lunch and cod sleet hotpot (2,200 yen in total). Located near Tsuruoka Park and Tsuruoka City Hall, the entrance has the atmosphere of a calm Japanese Cuisine restaurant. He immediately guided us into the restaurant, and first we were served warm sesame tofu steamed in a bowl, followed by cod miso nabe, which was delicious with the elegant seasoning of yuzu. The next lunch was gurnard and walnut sashimi, cod meuniere, dashimaki egg, Tempura, rice, and miso soup, and it was very delicious and satisfying. Western confectionery were also provided, and I was able to take home a pound cake filled with fruit and enjoy it deliciously at home.
