I've eaten it in Kitakyushu before, but finally I visited the original Kawara Soba for the first time. I was prepared to wait during Golden Week, but surprisingly I was able to get in within about 30 minutes. The Kawara Soba was as I expected, but the eel rice exceeded my expectations. I wanted a second helping. I'll definitely order it next time.
