Please enjoy the original "Kawara Soba."
We named this dish "Kawara Soba" by topping elegant green tea soba noodles with beef, shredded egg, seaweed, grated momiji leaf, lemon and our own original soup. It has been met with rave reviews and |
During my trip to Yamaguchi, I went to Takase, a famous local restaurant, for lunch. I went there at exactly 12 o'clock, and I thought there would be a huge line, but I was able to get in after about 30 minutes! The turnover rate was good! I ordered Kawara soba and eel rice. It was my first time to eat grilled soba, but it went really well with the beef and broth, and I ate it all up in no time. I also poured the broth into the eel rice, and it went down like hitsumabushi. I'd definitely go there again if I go to Yamaguchi! Highly recommended!
