On our wedding anniversary, we enjoyed dinner at French cuisine Restaurants Hiyorian in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. In fact, the date of our dinner during the trip happened to be our wedding anniversary. Hiyorian is a 100-year-old private house built during the Taisho era. The interior of the restaurant has high ceilings and an atmosphere perfect for a glamorous banquet. The exterior and interior of the building are classic. If you're just looking for an old folk house, it's Restaurants that's common these days, but the good thing about this restaurant is that it's Restaurants with a beautiful night view overlooking the Kanmon Strait. You don't often find Restaurants with such a nice atmosphere in Tokyo. The cuisine is rather orthodox French cuisine, but also incorporates Japanese elements. It is said to be "Japanese-European Creative Cuisine." The two men in charge of the service were also very polite, and the man who looked like the chief had good communication skills, and I wonder if he also handles weddings. The response is solid. For dinner, we had a course for 8,000 yen. First, for some reason, a large Prosciutto is loaded onto a wagon and transported. According to the description, it's Bayonne Prosciutto. Bayonne is French cuisine Basque, so Prosciutto looks delicious. Apparently it's an optional baguette and salad set for 700 yen. It looked delicious so I ordered one to share. Each person slices raw Prosciutto with a knife and eats it on a baguette with vegetables such as onions and arugula. It's especially delicious because it's the first time you're hungry! This is well thought out. There's definitely a lot of creativity here. The chef's dishes are all gorgeous and visually appealing, and are characterized by the large variety of ingredients that can be arranged on one plate. Also, each item is very elaborate, Spanish mackerel, Iberico pork, Inca awakening? (South American potatoes), terrine is a unique dish that combines meat and fish. I was surprised at how well it harmonized. For fish dishes, salmon from Tottori also appears as a companion to the grunt stir-fried dish. Twice delicious at once! Such a strange main dish. Is the luxurious arrangement suitable for a reception? Perhaps this is an expression of the chef's desire for people to enjoy a wide variety of dishes. After the dessert was finished, the server gave me a carnation flower as a gift. It was a wedding anniversary celebration. Wow, I'm so happy. By the way, do you have something to celebrate when you make a reservation? I forgot that I said it was our wedding anniversary. What's more, the large restaurant was reserved for us tonight, so it just happened to be a party just for us. It was a memorable wedding anniversary thanks to you. Thank you everyone!
