【食べログうなぎ百名店2019】
■上丼¥3,400（税込）
名古屋で『うな富士』や『あつた蓬莱軒』と並ぶ超人気うなぎ店『イチビキ』。1939年創業の老舗。連日そのうなぎを求め、朝から行列が生まれます。ちなみに、夜は完全予約営業。なのでみなさん、単品でうな丼が食べられるお昼に行くのですね。
システムは、9時半から配布される整理券をもらい、指定の時間に戻るシステム。私が伺ったのは土曜日。朝の9時から並び始めます。その時点で、すでに12〜13組は並んでいました。9時半前から整理券が配られはじめ、12:50の回を無事ゲットすることができました。
13:20くらいの特急列車に乗る必要があったため、少し早めの12:40頃に伺いました。入れてもらえないかなぁと、ダメ元で伺いましたが、快く入れてくださいました。おかげで無事電車には間に合いました。
当店で味わうべきは、やはり「うな丼」。売り切れ必至の「特上丼」はまだありましたが、うなぎの枚数やごはんの量の違いということを聞き、「上丼」を注文。
7分ほどで着丼。肉厚なうなぎが山のように盛られており、このボリュームで¥3,400はやはり名古屋プライス。安い！
焼きは強めで、外はパリパリで香ばしく、焦げめもちらほら。名古屋といえば、地焼きですが、ひょっとして当店は蒸しの工程が入っているのか、中はふわふわでとろとろ。うなぎはかなり脂が載っていてオイリー。地焼きでこのふわふわ感が出せるのものなのか不思議。ちょっと、このアプローチは個人的に好きじゃない。もっとカリカリで、うなぎの身のもっちり感を残している方が私は好みなのです。甘めのタレは濃口で美味しいのですが、うなぎとご飯の量が多いので、さすがに飽きてきました。お新香と肝吸いで箸休めしながら完食。ちょっと期待とは違ったなぁ。
