A while ago, I went to Nagoya for a visit. I finished work early that day, so I left Osaka at 4:30pm. There was no traffic and the trip was smooth, so I arrived in Nagoya in just over 2 hours. After arriving in Nagoya, I parked the car at the hotel where I was staying and went out for a drink. The restaurant I went to for a drink that day was Roku Main Branch Hisaya Odori, located right next to Hisaya Odori Station on the Meijo Subway Line. This restaurant is well-known for its delicious fish dishes, such as sashimi. I went inside the restaurant and sat at a table. Looking at the drinks menu, there was a wide variety of shochu and sake, as well as a wide variety of wine brands. There was also a wide selection of recommended sake. I ordered a Black Nikka Freezing Highball. We toasted and started drinking. From here, we also ordered food. There was a wide selection of today's recommendations and standard menu items. The first thing I ordered was the Roku sashimi platter. The sashimi was bluefin tuna, salmon, squid, whelk, scallops, yellowtail, marinated mackerel, and bonito. It was cut into large pieces for 1,980 yen, so there was a lot of it. Of course it was delicious to eat. The yellowtail was especially delicious. We also had the rolled omelet in dashi broth. A full size is 680 yen and a half size is 480 yen, so I chose the half size. Even the half size is a normal amount. The dashimaki is well-grilled and has a strong dashi flavor, making it delicious. For drinks, we had Super Dry Extra Gold, and for beer, we also had Dry Tempura Assorted tempura - this is one portion. We had it with tempura sauce and matcha salt, but I prefer to eat it with matcha salt. The drink here was sake - the sake called Sanzenmori. It's a sharp, dry, clear sake. For food, we had a 6-kind Grilled skewer platter. It's great that you can eat a variety of meats and vegetables. Grilled skewer were homemade meatballs, grilled chicken thighs, Homi pork leek, grilled shiitake mushrooms, grilled shishito peppers, and grilled white onion ikada. Every Grilled skewer was delicious. These Grilled skewer went well with the sake, so we had another glass of sake and finished with fatty tuna taku rolls - they had a nice texture and were delicious. We were full after this and finished. Every dish was delicious, and we had a relaxing and enjoyable meal. Thank you for the meal~ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ
