名古屋・荒畑の山王通沿いにある「エルトレロ」。遠くからでも少々装飾過剰気味のスペイン風外観が目を惹く、名古屋でも１～２を争うほど老舗のスペイン料理店です。
店内もまるでサン・セバスチャンの居酒屋さんにでも来ているようなエキゾチックな雰囲気。時々、フラメンコのショーも開催されるのだそうです。
いただいたのは「今月の1500円ランチ（1月5日から15日まで）」。人参サラダとグリーンのサラダ、本日のタパス、本日のスープと続き、メインは「鶏モモ肉のトマト煮」か「イカの墨煮」のどちらか。パン又はライス、コーヒー又は紅茶、デザートも付いて1,500円です。
イカ墨の旨味とニンニクの風味が絶妙な「イカの墨煮」もトマトの酸味がクセになる「鶏モモ肉のトマト煮」も絶品といって過言ありません。
ちなみに、２種類のメイン料理を両方ともいただける「Ｗメインのランチ」というメニューもあって、そちらの場合は2,100円。これで満足できないハズがありません。
