地域に根差した紛れもない良店
３月中旬の金曜日ランチ。
丹羽郡大口町の『すし処初音』を訪問する。
もうすぐ年度末。
溜まっている有給休暇を消化しなければならない。
いつもと違う平日。
いつもは行けない店に足を延ばしてみよう。
自宅から車で約30分。
田舎ならではの大きな一軒家の佇まいが、美味い鮨を食べさせてくれるのではと期待が高まる。
暖簾をくぐり入店。
お一人様のためカウンター席に案内される。
個人的に酒を飲みつつお好みで握ってもらう時以外はテーブル席や座敷の方が落ち着く。
なじみの鮨屋なら飲まずともカウンター席で親方相手に与太話するのだが、初めての鮨屋ではなかなかこうもいかない。
さて注文をしようか。
ランチメニューから初音にぎりランチ（¥1700）を注文する。
にぎり寿司、天ぷら、小鉢、サラダ、茶碗蒸し、みそ汁、デザートのランチである。
茶碗蒸しとデザートを除き10分ほどで提供される。
みそ汁から口をつける。
尾張地方に珍しく辛くない味つけ。
上品な味つけである。
こちらは２代目の女性の親方が跡をとったそうだが、２代目の好みなのかもしれない。
ベジファーストでサラダを食べなければならない糖質制限中の私であるが、サラダを食べている間にも刻々と時間は過ぎていく。
一刻も早く鮨を食べないと！
サラダを超速でやっつけ鮨をつまむ。
まずは白身から。
シャキッとした張りのある白身。
鼻腔からかすかな魚の甘い香り。
美味い！
提供から３分後に食べたのだが、それでこの美味さは反則である。
はらりと口中で崩れる酢飯。
これ、お好みで握ってもらって、すぐ１秒で食べたら卒倒してしまうくらい美味いのではないか？
特に美味かった鮨種はやはり鮪。
爽やかな血合いの旨味がある。
酢飯が田舎者の私には少しだけ頼りない効き具合であったが、それでもかなり美味い鮨を食べさせていただけた。
必ず再訪したい鮨屋となった。
次回は、妻の運転で飲みながら鮨をつまみたいと思う。

Saturday lunch in mid-May. My wife and I visited ``Sushidokoro Hatsune'' in Oguchi-cho, Niwa-gun. I have been booked twice recently, so I decided to make a reservation and visit today. Make a reservation for a counter seat at noon. I walked through the noren curtain, wondering if it would be okay to arrive a little early. I was guided to a counter seat without any problems. We had a decent number of customers today as well. When you sit at a counter seat at a sushi restaurant, you'll want to order whatever you want, but I just ordered it at a sushi restaurant in Nagoya during Golden Week. That's why I ordered the usual Hatsune Nigiri Lunch (¥1700) and Hot Kandai (¥880). Hatsune Nigiri lunch consists of salad, Small dish, tempura, red soup stock, chawanmushi, sushi, and dessert. First, hot sake is served. I almost never drink beer at the counter of a sushi restaurant. I often drink hot sake straight away. It's fun just watching the master prepare the sushi, and it feels like the sushi is served in no time. Beautiful sushi as always. Shiny crimson tuna, yellowtail, salmon, sea bream, shrimp, and makimono. The sushi is at the temperature that most people find most delicious, and it's absolutely delicious. It's a standard sushi, so of course it's all standard sushi types, but if you're having lunch in a neighborhood on a holiday, there's nothing to complain about. This is a sushi restaurant that is suitable for lunch.
