This is a store that I have been interested in for a long time because of its strong Aomori-inspired exterior. Finally visited the store for the first time. When you enter, the inside seems surprisingly small. There were about 4 counter seats and 4 table seats (?). Since I'm alone, I go to the counter. Then a shichirin was placed in front of me. ○Suntory The Malts Barrel Draft (Large) (935 yen) ●Overnight-dried flounder, komai, and shishamo Ootoshi is grilled on a charcoal grill placed in front of you before you eat it. Not only can you eat it fresh and piping hot, but for some reason it tastes really delicious, probably because you've seared it yourself. ●Mutsu Bay Scallop Charcoal Charcoal (429 yen) Grilled on the Charcoal Charcoal right in front of you. When it seemed like it was going to be overcooked, the staff told me it was time to eat it, so I was able to get it cooked just right. The sweetness and flavor of scallops are concentrated! The soy sauce-based sauce is also delicious. ●Assorted sashimi (large) 1,089 yen Tuna, yellowtail, Aomori salmon, bonito tataki, mackerel The sashimi is delicious, but nothing special. ○Sayaka Junmai Ginjo (1,089 yen) ●Fried smelt from Lake Ogawara (539 yen) Although the smelt is small, it is packed with flavor. Once you start eating, you won't be able to stop. The beer goes on. ●Miyagi raw mekabu sashimi (539 yen) This is a seasonal specialty that can only be tasted now. Although it is not produced in Aomori Prefecture. This is my first time eating this. I had imagined that Mekabu Sashi would be cut into pieces, but it was served in large chunks. When you eat it with dashi soy sauce and condiments like ginger and wasabi, it's a very delicious way to eat it, with a slippery texture when you put it in your mouth, and a crunchy texture when you bite into it, full of flavor. ○ Suntory The Malts Barrel Draft (Medium) (693 yen) ● Charcoal grilled Nodoguro overnight dried (1 fish) (495 yen) Isn't the Nodoguro 500 yen? I thought so and asked for it, but it turned out to be a small black-throated fish, the same length as a shishamo. However, even though it is small, it has a light amount of fat, but it still has the flavor of Nodoguro. ●Squid mince (429 yen) This is Aomori's Local Cuisine, but it's irresistibly delicious and the perfect accompaniment to beer. ●Bunka-dried Sardines (2 fish) (385 yen) The bitterness of the internal organs is what makes the sardines so delicious. I also grilled the shichirin and ate it. ○ Suntory The Malts Barrel Draft (Medium) (693 yen) I felt that the prices of all the dishes were cheap. After drinking and eating quite a lot, the total cost of 7,744 yen was a satisfying price. It is recommended for people from outside the prefecture as they can fully enjoy Aomori only here.
