海が時化たらお店はお休みという、まさに魚料理を売りにしている店です。
すぐ近くには船橋漁港と市場があって新鮮な魚を得るには最適な場所です。
今日はお祝いの宴があって初めて利用させていただきました。
訪れる前から興味津津ではありましたが、訪問して納得です。
店の構えは一般の民家のようですが、暖簾をかければ立派な料理屋の雰囲気です。
中は大広間があって、漁港に面しています。
窓を開ければ風が通り、涼しげな風情を醸し出しています。
料理は突き出し、刺身、焼き物、煮物、揚げ物と魚主体の会席料理です。
中でも美味しくいただけたのは刺身と煮物です。
刺身は取れたての、鱸(すずき)、鰺(あじ)、沖鯔(おきぼら)、鰆(さわら)、太刀魚(たちうお)、鳥貝を盛り合わせたものです。
それぞれがとても新鮮で刺身の甘さが存分に伝わってきました。
煮物はイシモチ(別名グチ)が用意されました。
焼き魚としても美味しいようですが、煮物で甘く煮つけられていました。
やや小骨が気になりましたが、美味しくいただきました。
全体的に料理のボリュームとしては少なめかもしれませんが、お酒を楽しみながらということであれば丁度良い感じかもしれません。
昼も店は開いているようで、あさりを使用した美味しい丼ぶりものがいただけるようです。
