Would I go all the way from Kanagawa to Fukuoka to eat Iekei Ramen? That's a stupid question. If there is Ramen there, I have to go. Or rather, I wanted to go to see how Yokohama Iekei is thriving in the world of Hakata tonkotsu ramen. The opportunity came at a good time, so I thought I shouldn't miss it. The familiar red restaurant. I was shocked to see that there was no one lining up at dinner time. I went inside the store to check. There was Yoshimura Minoru's name. It was like a pass. I had a bowl of Ramen before coming to Uchida-ya, so I ordered a firm Ramen. I took a sip of the soup. The original ramen seemed sharper, but I thought, ah, this is the taste of Iekei. The smoky char siu also nodded. This taste may be one of the many Ramen shops in Hakata, but if it was in Kanagawa, there would be a line. Eating in Hakata, I learned the greatness of Yokohama Iekei. I could feel the desire to compete in this area. I think it's natural to go to Hakata Tonkotsu ramen because of the local characteristics. But as a person from Kanagawa and as a Ramen lover, I think it's wonderful that Yokohama Iekei ramen is still alive in this area. Iekei Ramen is a culture. Thank you for the delicious meal.
