初めての小倉の夜。お取引先様の設定で懇親会ということになった。場所は稚加栄。博多では経験がある超有名店であるが、入り口には「小倉稚加栄」の看板が。調べると、博多は株式会社稚加栄でこちらは株式会社和正となっており、創業者の息子さんが閉店した小倉店を買い取って、別会社で運営しているようだ。不仲なのかなんなのか、双方のホームページにお互いの表記はない。博多に比べて堅苦しさは感じないが、従業員の教育は博多に軍配があがるか。
乾杯。料理は、稚加栄の名前がついてるだけあって旨い。特に、魚の旨さはとてもいい。青物の硬さは、色味が透き通っている時点でわかるというもの。車エビもブリブリとしていて活海老とわかる。頭は焼いてほしかった。しゃぶしゃぶは、あまり好きには慣れないが他の料理も写真は撮れなかったが旨かった。
通路にテーブルが置いてあったのは雰囲気が台無しだと感じた。通路は、客のモノとどこかで聞いたことがある。こちらのほうがリーズナブルで、正直、博多より好きかもしれない。
