喰い鍋やグループの『すし天や』。最近オープンしたお店。ランチをやっているとのことで、行ってみました。
店内に入ると、通路があって、左側に部屋があり、奥にも席があるようですが、左側の部屋に案内されたので、奥の雰囲気は分かりません。
黒を基調とした内装でシンプル。
部屋にはテーブルが３卓あり、そのうち１卓では、おとな女子４人でランチ女子会を開催中。そんなところへ、入ってきたおっさんヒトリ。
おそらく邪魔モノ（笑）。
店名どおり、すしと天ぷらがメインで、その他居酒屋メニューなどもあるお店です。
ランチメニューには、すし食べ放題(10分間 700円)のほか、以下の定食があります。
天ぷらとすし定食 1080円
牛ヒレカツ定食 1580円
牛すきやき定食 1480円

うどんサラダ天ぷら定食 980円

私がいただいたのはコチラです。
◆天ぷらとすし定食
すしが先に出てきました。船盛りで10貫。マグロ、タイ、サーモンなど。同じネタが2貫というパターンもあり。
赤酢と赤酒を使っているすし飯を使っているそうで、私は、その風味にすぐに馴染めないところがありましたが、ネタは割りといいと思いました。
天ぷらは、10分間ぐらいのズレでやってきました。揚げたてですが、天ぷらオンリーで食べるのは厳しいので、すしと一緒に持ってきて欲しいなと。
天ぷらは、穴子、海老、野菜などの盛り合わせ。サクサクの軽い衣の天ぷら。天つゆ、抹茶塩など。なんと言いますか、丁度よいおいしさ。
おそらく、天ぷらのなかで目玉である『穴子の天ぷら』は、煮穴子が使われていて、ほんのり甘みがあります。今回は、なぜか食べた後に残る風味が、気になって、ストレートにウマイとまでは、いかなかったのですが、面白さはあります。
全体的に1080円で、これだけ出てくれば、なかなかの満足感があります。
接客は、アルバイト系で慣れてない感じもしますが、基本的な丁寧さは感じます。
店主はどんな方か分かりませんが、以前、昼間に通りかかったときに、子どもの運動会でランチを休みますとの貼り紙がありました。私としてはそういうのが、なぜだか好印象。
