In the spring, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms and haze around you, in the summer, the bustle of people enjoying walks along the beach, in the autumn, the sun setting over Karatsu on the opposite shore, and in the winter, the rain and the boiling mist. All Beige [Saganono] is located in Itoshima, about an hour by car from Fukuoka city. You can enjoy exquisite kaiseki cuisine using plenty of local seafood and mountain produce. The menu changes every
...month, both day and night, making use of seasonal ingredients. At the end of the course, the rice is cooked in an earthenware pot, and when you open the lid, you may be greeted with cheers. Up to three groups can stay overnight, providing the ultimate in relaxation.
