Along with oysters, small sardines, which are in season in the summer, are a famous Hiroshima specialty. They are eaten in various ways such as Tempura or boiled, but at our restaurant we serve fresh small sardines as sashimi. Although the meat is small, it has a rich umami flavor, making it a very popular dish among customers both inside and outside the prefecture. We offer soba shochu, barley shochu, and potato shochu. We are particularly particular about ordering sweet potato shochu from Kagoshima, such as Nansen from Tanegashima.
