今では完全に市民権を得た自家焙煎ですが、その草創期の１９８０年に『創業者 従二直彦』が宮の森にて創業 その後山の手を経て2012年2月に新琴似6条に移転開業致しました。 新しい豆の香りと味をお届けする為の自家焙煎との創業者の珈琲理念の元、日々焙煎を続けております。 店名の（るびあ）もコーヒーの木の学名（rubiaceas coffea 茜科コーヒー属)から命名 深煎り珈琲の草分け店でもあります。
